9mm Luger +P 115 gr. SCHP
No question, our +P loading of the 9mm Luger with a 90 gr. conventional jacketed hollow point is an excellent man-stopper and proven defensive load. However, when you take the 9mm bullet, add weight and make it from solid copper with a pre-fluted nose to create a six-petal cutting edge, the performance is even better. The main difference is solid copper cannot separate the jacket and core— because there is no core! Bullets remain intact and penetrate deeper with greater expansion— exactly what you want in terminal ballistics. Solid copper is "barrier blind" as well, zipping through drywall, plywood, windshield glass, car doors and other obstacles far better than conventional bullets. The monlithic construction greatly minimizes bullet deformation or break-up on intervening obstacles or thick, heavy clothing.

Perfect performance!
Used to finish off my deer this year. Put the finishing shot through the neck, severing the spine and stopping against the skin on the far side. Perfect expansion and weight retention.

9mm Luger +P 115 GR SCHP
I received a shipment, just before Christmas 2020. My sweetheart and I are both LEO's and we decided to test the ammunition on Christmas eve. We took our huge Christmas ham to the range, placed four layer of Denim over it and shot it using our duty pistol. (4.25 inch Smith and Wesson M&P9 2.0) The result was outstanding! At 7 yards, shot one expanded to .70, opening the hollow cavity to it's maximum. Shot two, placed through the bone, also went to .68 and plowed through the denim, meat and bone as it it wasn't there. Both bullets left a "wound cavity" of aprx one inch in diameter. We could not be happier with Super Vel's performance and will be carrying this ammunition from now on!
