    9mm Luger 147 gr. FMJ Hush Puppy "Certified Select"

    Traveling at 900 fps, well below the speed of sound, our Hush Puppy® 147 gr. FMJ load is a soft-shooting, mild-recoil alternative to full-power 9mm ball. The IPSC/USPSA power factor is 132, ideal for competition. Because it is a soft-shooting load, the 147 gr. Hush Puppy may not cycle certain pistols reliably with the factory recoil spring; a reduced-power recoil spring may be necessary.

      Ran this for the first time this afternoon through my Glock 45 and it was perfect. Consistent accurate ammunition ran about 400 rounds or so gun was barely dirty at all. Recoil is in my opinion, reduced and super consistent.

      I use this for steel challenge (we have no minimum power factor). I love how easy shooting this Ammo is, and it’s super reliable with mostly consistent loads. Highly recommend if you need to buy in bulk.

      So glad I found this ammo. My first few runs did experience failure to eject the spent casing on only a couple rounds out of approx. 100. I realized I needed a lighter recoil spring. After fixing “my issue” this ammo ran flawless and I improved my stage % considerably at my next match. I am looking forward to improving my scores in the future and getting more of this ammo. I really needed this in my life.

      My go-to competition-only ammo. Really nice recoil impulse with this 147gr load. Top-notch quality and great prices. Love SuperVel customer service. If only shipping to Ohio wasn't such a beast.

      I have shot hundreds of rounds of Super Vel new and remanufactured 147 Grain subsonic ammunition with my Sig Sauer suppressed MPX. Highly recommend.
