9mm Luger Sub. 147 gr. FMJ "Hush Puppy"
This load is identical, in terms of ballistics data, to our 9mm Luger 147 gr. FMJ Competition Load, except this load is made with factory new brass, not remanufactured brass.
Traveling at 900 fps, well below the speed of sound, our Hush Puppy® 147 gr. FMJ load is a soft-shooting, mild-recoil alternative to full-power 9mm ball. The IPSC power factor is 132, ideal for competition. Because it is a soft-shooting load, the 147 gr. Hush Puppy may not cycle suppressed pistols reliably with the factory recoil spring; a reduced-power recoil spring may be necessary. All Smith & Wesson M&P pistols from our sister company, the Hush Puppy Project, are shipped with a reduced-power recoil spring (as well as the original factory spring) for this very reason.

147gr Hush Puppy
Works great in my HK MP5SD..! Soft recoil, low noise. I just ordered the 158gr HP and am anticipating a great shoot.

Ammo works great!
I purchased 5 boxes about 2 years ago at an S12 handgun training event, and finally shot them last week. I was astonished. I have shot 300 Blackout subs suppressed before, and this ammo was impressive. No reliability issues, worth the money. I also shot a box of the hollow points into targets with mass. Very satisfactory. I will be buying more in the future, thanks Super Vel!
